It was snowing. I didn’t see so much with my umbrella patterned with stars. I wanted to buy a present for some of my friends and my parents.
Christmas was coming.
I love that season. The lights adorn the sky
with its variety colors. A crow in the street try to buy what they’re looking
for queuing. I put my scarf in the way I’m not cold. The mist escapes my mouth.
My cheeks are ice and go red.
I got in a clothes shop to look for T-shirts,
jackets, sweaters, scarves, gloves, shoes or something like that for my
friends. Inside the shop it was warm, but I was so good. I started to search
for and catch what I liked for them. I tried clothes’ women, but I couldn’t do
the same with men’s clothes. When I had three things for three of my seven
friends I went to the checkout.
—Hello —I said.
—Hello.
I looked up my eyes and I found these eyes
again. Deep blue eyes.
—Such a surprise! —he said smiling.
I went red, and it didn’t happen cause of the
cold.
—Yeah… —I said talking to myself.
—Are you buying for family?
—Friends.
—I like when people buy gifts the day before —he
said with a grin.
—I’m not buying the day before… —I underlined
the words.
—You know what I mean —And suddenly then he said—: Are you buying for your boyfriend too.
—I don’t have boyfriend.
—Did you have?
And then we heard something that said an
elderly woman: “Oh, girl, he’s trying to like you. Go out with him and let me
buy these things…! He’s gorgeous”.
I blinked a couple of times and he started to
laugh noisily. I took the ticket and he whispered me before I went: “Did you
have?”
—Yes, I did.
I was worried about the question. I didn’t even
realize what the gifts had cost me, and when I took the ticket from the bag I
read a phone number wrote with a pen.
